A citing has occurred as a result of the Ospreys Rugby v Zebre Rugby Club game at The Liberty Stadium, Swansea in Round 1, September 2, 2017.
Ben John, (No 13) of Ospreys has been reported by the Citing Commissioner in charge for alleged foul play against a Zebre player under Law 10.4 (e) – Dangerous Tackling. A player must not tackle an opponent whose feet are off the ground.
The incident occurred in the 13th minute and involved Zebre’s No 15 (Matteo Minozzi).
The player will face a Disciplinary Hearing in Dublin on Wednesday, September 6, 2017. The Disciplinary panel will comprise of Michael Coghlan (chair), Jennifer Donovan (Ireland) and a third panel member to be confirmed.
