There are several changes to the DHL Stormers Bolts team for their SA Rugby U20 Cup match against Leopards U20 in Potchefstroom on Saturday.
Scrumhalf Tyrone Gombe will captain the team for the encounter at Olen Park, which kicks off at 11h00 on Saturday.
There are three changes to the backline, with Gombe joined by centre Luca Potgieter and wing Pretorius Ekeji in the starting line-up.
Hooker Altus Rabe makes his return after featuring in the Carling Currie Cup, while No.8 MJ van der Westhuizen, flank Torren February, lock Zander van Zyl and prop Unaye Mndau make their first starts of the campaign.
Head coach Johno van der Walt said that it will be vital to find some cohesion quickly in Potchefstroom.
“There are a number of changes this week, so the challenge will be to ensure that we hit the ground running.
“It is always tough going up to Potchefstroom, but there are several players who are highly motivated to make their mark, so hopefully we see intensity for the full 80 minutes,” he said.
