I am so tempted to say that I saw this coming after EP’s less than stellar performance against Border as the curtain raiser to the Sharks vs EP game on 4 July 2014, but that would be with the benefit of hindsight …… and churlish after their 2 point win against the Pumas on Monday.
Spear-headed by a dazzling display from flyhalf Bader-Werner Pretorius, KZN totally outplayed Eastern Province in their match at the u18 Coca-Cola Academy Week in Worcester on 8 July and scored at will in the first half.
The KZN flyhalf, Bader-Werner Pretorius, managed to find holes in the defences with his passing and running and his team mates revelled in the momentum and space created by him.
EP scored a late try in the first half, but hardly had a look in.
It was more of the same in the second, with KZN proving to be just too strong, fast and skilful for their opponents.
