Stefan-terblancheUlster confirmed that veteran Stefan Terblanche, Sharks back, who is a favourite with rugby union betting fans, will be joining the Northern Ireland outfit on a three-month contract.

Ulster was given dispensation to recruit a foreign player on a short-term basis to cover Jared Payne,  who suffered a ruptured Achilles on October 7 in the RaboDirect PRO12 match against Treviso, as seen by rugby union betting fans.

As the former Blues  centre rehabilitates from the injury, he faces a lengthy spell on the sidelines, and rugby union betting fans everywhere hope that he recovers very soon, as they would love to see him back in action.

Terblanche,  36-years-old, was capped for the Springboks 37 times and made his final appearance for the Sharks in the Currie Cup final against the Golden Lions that took place last Saturday in Johannesburg .

Rugby union betting fans remember that in 1999, the player made his debut for the Durban-based franchise before he joined Ospreys in December 2003. For the 2007 Currie Cup season, he went back to South Africa,  and the Sharks, in which the player made his 100th appearance for the side with very good rugby odds.

“At this stage in the season with players all under contract it was always going to be difficult to recruit a high-calibre individual to provide cover for Jared,” said Ulster director of rugby David Humphreys.

“But we are delighted that we have been able to convince Stefan not to hang up his boots just yet.”

Even though Terblanche comes to Belfast on a short term contract, the player should settle in quickly in the squad with Ruan Pienaar  and Johann Muller, former Sharks team-mates, and rugby union betting fans all over the world that follow the player and the rugby odds believe that he’ll be a great addition, and are looking forward to seeing some amazing performances.

The player’s arrival at Ravenhill will depend on how long it will take to meet the UK Border Agency’s requirements.
