Namibia flanker Wian Conradie is free to play after an independent judicial committee decided that his ordering off in the November international against Spain was sufficient and that no further sanction was necessary.
Namibia flanker Wian Conradie appeared before an independent judicial committee on Tuesday having received a red card in Namibia’s November internationals match against Spain on 12 November, 2022. The red card was awarded following two yellow cards.
The independent Disciplinary Committee was chaired by Tommy Dalton (Ireland), joined by former international players David Humphreys (Ireland) and Bogdan Zebega (Romania).
The Committee considered the fact that one yellow card was awarded for a technical offence (collapsing a maul) following a team warning, and one was for foul play (lifting tackle) and decided that the ordering off was sufficient and that no further sanction was necessary.
